planet mu on the abstract side with this kool release by barry lynn gathering tracks been produced between 2002 to 2005. could be easiely dropped in the box with the intelligent dance music label in the electronica container. but i will try this description, lots of shiny melancholic pad melodies, funky glitchy beats and laptop jazz for super modern retro design appartments sitting on the top of a cold innercity without many neighbours (maybe the type of feeling you got being the housewart for the SAP building, just you and empty floors) and then there are some spots of mashed up jungle, but more sofisticated and more cybernetic. the 12 tracks on this double vinyl somewhat appears to be some kind of session edits or sketches, and that isnt meant negative, they fade out on some point.
